Manager, Assessment & Development Centers
 Responsible for the scheduling, staffing and logistical requirements for the group assessment and development centers, Janet and her staff prepare the materials, facilitate the activities, and handle all equipment used at the centers. Her unit also coordinates all the subsequent reporting, record keeping, documentation and analysis of assessment data and conducts research to benchmark clients against similar companies in their industries.
Janet began her career as a programmer and systems analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City. Later, she became the manager of the Electronic Banking Systems department at M&T Bank in Buffalo and helped design and implement its first ATM installation. Prior to joining Applied Research Corporation in 1997, she was a systems analyst with a private consulting firm in New York City, while spending her leisure time acting in plays and short films.
She earned a bachelor's degree in drama and a master's in mathematics at Syracuse University. While studying there, Janet also worked for the Policy Institute of the Syracuse University Research Corporation, which dealt with government policy as it relates to education. |
